Steve Benger
Partner
Steve is a board-level strategic adviser and non-executive director with over 30 years’ experience leading, owning, and advising organisations across multiple sectors.
He began his career in senior corporate roles running global manufacturing businesses, before going on to serve as CEO of multiple organisations across manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, and the public sector.
Alongside his executive roles, Steve has held a range of independent board advisory and non-executive positions, supporting Chairs, boards, and investors to improve performance and build sustainable shareholder value.
Since 2017, he has acquired and sold six businesses and is a current portfolio owner through Oxygen Partners, bringing a strong owner-investor perspective to his board-level work.
Gareth Benger
Partner
Gareth is a board-level strategic adviser and non-executive director with experience spanning commercial, operational and financial functions across multiple sectors.
He began his career on a graduate management trainee programme and went on to build extensive commercial and marketing expertise within the FMCG sector.
He joined Accelerus in 2014 to lead on deal origination, supporting boards and investors through strategic and transactional change.
He has since held multiple non-executive and board roles and is also a portfolio business owner through Oxygen Partners.
Gareth also serves as Treasurer of a major UK sporting institution, with responsibility for financial stewardship and governance.
